The Committee on Scholarship and Academic Honors, headed by Dr. Lily Sia-Vargas, presented the Scholars of the College of Medicine. There were 23 students (two full, 21 partial) who received the President Dalupan Scholarship, which is awarded to incoming freshmen who graduated Summa Cum Laude or Magna Cum Laude (full) or Cum Laude (partial) with no grade below 2.5 from the pre-med course. Just like the previous school year, the College also awarded the University Entrance Scholars to students who graduated with latin Honors and obtained an NMAT of 85% or better. There were about 43 student recipients this year.

The Dean's List or the top 10 performing students of each year level for SY 2010-2011 were likewise recognized. These students will receive US$ 150 from the UERM-Alumni Foundation USA Inc. These students are:

For having obtained a general weighted average of 2.0 or better, Scholarships for Academic Excellence were also given. Nine students from first year to third year were given full scholarship and 62 students were given partial scholarships.

In addition to the Certificates of Recognition awarded by the College of Medicine, the faculty awardees and the top 10 students also received cash incentives from AFUSA, Inc.

This year's Committee on Opening Exercises was headed by Dr. Ma. Cristina S. Elma-zulueta, with the following members: Dr. Farah Margarita Aure, Dr. Ma. Theresa Cacas, Dr. Eric Constantine Valera, Dr. Glen Guevara, Dr. Melissa Calilao, Ms. Imelda Delos Reyes, Engr. Isagani Sapuay, Mr. Angel Borja, Mr. Ramoncito Bugia, and officers of the Medicine Student Council, headed by Ms. Liwayway Andrade.
