Projects and Activities for 2013-2014

  1. Alumni Membership:

    2. The 4th year medical students (Clerks) automatic membership to the UERM-CMAA, Inc. for which joining alumni fee is integrated in their second semester matriculation.

  2. Lifetime membership campaign:

    3. Efforts are now underway to facilitate collection from UERM Faculty thru salary deductions so as to become lifetime members of the UERMCMAA.

  3. Customized Affinity credit card:

    4. This is a joint project with Allied Bank which will facilitate the issuance of the Affinity credit cards to the medical alumni and will provide certain services relating to such issuance.

  4. Amendment of Constitution and By-Laws:

    5. The UERM-CMAA, Inc. Board of Trustees and Past Presidents held a one day workshop last June 15, 2013 for the amendment of the association’s Constitution and By-Laws

  5. Medicine Student Week:

    6. The Association will support the medicine student week on September 9-13, 2013 by providing speakers on the event with the theme “Tatak UERM” that aims to establish a sense of identity and promote school spirit among UERM medical students.

  7. Fundraising Activity:

    8. The UERM-CMAA, Inc. and UERMMED’84 will be holding a benefit concert entitled “KunDiRana, eh di UERM, A Fusion for a Mission” on October 26, 2013 at the Bro. Rafael S. Donato Center for the Performing Arts, La Salle Green Hills, Mandaluyong City. The beneficiary of this talent show will be the the Medical Indigency Fund of the UERM Memorial Medical Center. The show will feature the prestigious Kundirana choir of La Salle Green Hills and some homegrown talents from the UERM College of Medicine Alumni Association.

  9. Career Orientation for Clerks:

    10. A Career Orientation for Clerks to guide them to the different pathways in their medical career. This is one activity that the UERMCMAA is spearheading for the Medical Students for them to have an awareness of the UERM College of Medicine Alumni Association.
